Home Energy Assessment
What is a Home Energy Assessment?
A Home Energy Assessment (HEA) provides an easy-to-understand snapshot of how your home copes with hot and cold weather and how to save money on your energy bills.
The service is delivered by one of our experienced *Energy Assessors who will visit your home, discuss your goals and conduct a thorough on-site assessment (1.5-2hours). They will collect information on your home’s fixed appliances and features and provide you with on-the-spot expert advice on cost-effective upgrades to your home to reduce energy bills and improve comfort all year round. You will also receive a written report as a helpful guide/planner to support your next steps.
*Our Energy Assessors have several years experience under the Residential Scorecard Program, which concluded in June 2026. Our Assessors are trained in conducting home energy assessments under the newly created NaTHERS for Existing Homes program, which has replaced the Residential Scorecard Program and is being delivered under the auspices of the Australian Government.
Important Note: Our HEA service is NOT the same as a NaTHERS for Existing Home assessment, which is designed to generate a home energy rating certificate for future disclosure at point of sale/lease of a property. Electrification Hub assessors will soon be accredited to provide a NaTHERS for Existing Home certificate as an additional (or alternative) service to our HEA service. Our HEA service is provided in partnership with Ephe.
