What is a Home Energy Assessment?

Our Home Energy Assessment (HEA) is an easy-to-understand snapshot of how your home copes with hot and cold weather and how to save money on your energy bills. The service is delivered by one of our experienced in-house consultants. They will visit your home to discuss your goals and conduct a thorough on-site assessment (1.5-2hours). They will collect information on your home’s fixed appliances and features and provide you with on-the-spot expert advice on cost-effective upgrades to reduce energy bills and improve comfort all year round. You will also receive a written report as a helpful guide/planner to support your next steps. Important Note, our HEA service is NOT a NatHERS Home Energy Rating. READ FIRST: Our HEA service is provided in partnership with Ephe. Ephe holds the head contract with several Melbourne Council's offering subsidised HEA services to residents under the Solar Savers program. Electrification Hub supports Ephe in the delivery of the HEA service as a contracted consultant. When you click on "here" you will be directed to the Ephe web-site to schedule and pay for your HEA service. You will have the option to select a consultant to deliver your HEA service and we would appreciate you selecting our founder and principal Malcolm Eadie as you preferred consultant.

Need a NatHERS Home Energy Rating?

If you are planning to sell or lease your home in the near future you may prefer a NatHERS Home Energy Rating. Designed and administered by the Australian Government, a NatHERS Home Energy Rating provides a standardised energy performance report card (Home Energy Rating Certificate) for your home that can be disclosed to a buyer or renter when you sell or lease your home.
