Our Ambition

Electrification Hub is the business idea of founder Malcolm Eadie, a Professional Engineer with over 25years experience in sustainability and the built environment. Electrification Hub was borne from an observed need to make the national ambition of improving the comfort and energy efficiency of Australia’s 11+million homes as simple and beneficial as possible for Australian home owners, investors and renters.
Making energy efficiency and electrification part of your home improvements brings immediate benefits such as a more comfortable and healthy home, lower energy bills and a healthier environment. It also future proofs the value of your home and makes it more resilient to future climate extremes such as higher intensity heatwaves and storms.
Home buyers and renters are increasingly making energy performance part of their property decisions. A recent PropTrack Report found that 68 per cent of people view energy efficiency ratings as important when buying, renting or building a property. Evidence from overseas and here in Australia shows buyers and renters will pay a premium for an energy efficient all-electric home.
Australia’s natural abundance of renewable energy and our rapidly decarbonizing electricity networks presents a once in a generation opportunity for Australians to make the shift from fossil fuel dependence and embrace the cost of living, health and environmental benefits of going all electric. Now is the time to make the switch for good. Electrification Hub Founder, Malcolm Eadie
